VILLAGE CREEK DATE NIGHT
Married couples of all ages are invited to a “date night out” at Village Creek Landing on Wednesday, October 16, from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Come and enjoy Southern Soul BBQ, live music, fun games and giveaways, and an encouraging message from our Pastor Jerry and his wife, Gina. Childcare will be available after W@W at 5:30pm throughout the event. Take some time to “get closer” with your spouse and fellowship with your church family! Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
WILLS AND ESTATE CLINIC
Do you have a will? Have you reviewed it recently? If you haven’t, the State of Georgia has taken care of it. Unfortunately, it may not be the way you would do it. Wednesday evening, October 23, at 5:30 pm, the John Wesley Society Endowment Committee will host a Wills and Estate Clinic, along with a light dinner, featuring Nancy Young from the Georgia United Methodist Foundation. Nancy will highlight different aspects of the importance of developing and reviewing your estate plan and provide free materials to assist you and your family in this process. Please RSVP to the church office by Monday, October 21. Childcare with dinner will be available with your reservation.
Wesley UMW is selling fresh pecans to raise funds to support missions. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to support missions, locally, nationally, and internationally. They are great for gifts, holiday baking, and snacks! Ladies are taking orders in the Breezeway before and after services on October13. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards. Purchases may be picked up on November 10 and November 17. We will also be at St. William's Fall Festival on November 9, from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY 10/27
We are looking forward to celebrating and showcasing our children later this month on Children’s Sunday! The W@W Children’s Choir will be singing at the 9:00 and 10:45am services with a special treat in between. Kids can also serve in worship as readers, greeters, or play their own musical piece! If your child would like to participate in these roles, please email Maryellen at email@example.com to volunteer!
COINS FOR CHANGE THANKS
A big "THANK YOU" Wesley family for your contributions to our change jug for the students from St. Simons Island Christian School. We have raised over $250!!! Yes, you are right, that is a lot of change. Thank you for your continued support of local missions and families supporting local missions!
DRIVE THRU THE GOSPELS
Sunday mornings at 10:00am, the Seekers Sunday school class cordially invites you to “Drive through the Gospels.” This DVD led study with Dave Stotts takes us on his most exciting adventure yet, as he tells the story of Jesus from the locations recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Dave travels to over 50 ancient sites in Israel to deliver the Gospels in a fresh and compelling way. As Dave uncovers the evidence for the truth of Scripture, he encourages all of us to get excited about reading the Bible again! Join us this Sunday morning in Room 501, which is in the Marshall Gathering Room, just outside the Celebration Hall. Questions? Contact Paige Gober in the church office at 634-1412, ext. 13.
If your contact information has changed (address, cell/home phone, email address), or other significant changes have occurred in your household, please let us know. Email updates to firstname.lastname@example.org or call (912) 634-1412. Thank you for helping us to keep our records current.
ONLINE GIVINGThrough our website, we offer the convenience of online giving. Donors can pay their tithe, contribute to various funds, and establish recurring transactions, all with great ease. Click here or choose "Giving" in the navigation menu to make a contribution. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact the church office: email@example.com or (912) 634-1412.
Sunday, October 27 we will host a Parent Workshop on Technology in the Home. All parents are invited to join us at 10:00am in Celebration Hall. Technology is a wonderful invention that makes life easier, but often is the source of debate between parent and child. We will guide you through appropriate technology for all ages and show you how technology can help your family and faith. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for info!
