Your Wesley staff is with you, even while we’re social distancing! You can find all our online content on our Wesley Facebook page and our WesleySSI YouTube channel. And, of course, on Sunday mornings join us at https://wesleyssi.org/home-church for Home Church live streamed at 11:00am!
ANGEL TREE 2020
Our Wesley family has supported the Salvation Army and Burroughs-Molette School every year by providing a bright Christmas to children in need here in Glynn County. This year, as we all know, has been particularly difficult for many and we want Wesley to be a light to these children this Advent season. The Angel tags are available on the tree in the Breezeway, and gifts must be returned under the tree no later than Sunday, December 13 at 5:00pm. Pick up a tag (or two) and spread the joy of Christ this Christmas season. These gifts are so appreciated!
YOUTH THANKSGIVING INFO
We're looking forward to continuing to meet in person on Sunday nights and find a renewed rhythm together, resuming both middle school and high school as normally as possible. We will do our best to keep everyone involved as safe as possible. If you haven't been able to meet Logan, please don't hesitate to reach out or stop by on Sunday nights; he's very eager to meet everyone! Please contact Logan at email@example.com if you have any questions.
The Worship Committee cordially invites you to help decorate Wesley for the Advent season. We will meet this Tuesday, December 1, at 9:30am and spend the better part of the day getting our lovely church ready for this special time of the year. Come for all or part of the day. It will be a lot of fun, and you will meet fabulous folks!

ONLINE WORSHIP INFO
We apologize if you have experienced disruptions during a live-streamed worship service. While this is beyond our control, we are working with our internet provider to seek a resolution. Although, if the coverage is disrupted, the filming of the service is not. Once the worship service has concluded, it will be uploaded and can be viewed in its entirety without interruptions, later in the day.
DID YOU KNOW?
The paraments are now purple to signify the beginning of Advent. Advent is the first season of the Christian church year, which leads up to Christmas. It is the season of anticipation, hope, promise, and waiting for Jesus the Christ's birth. There are four Sundays in Advent. The color for this season is purple or royal blue.
Starting in January, the Children's Ministry will be needing volunteers to help assist and teach our sweet children on Sundays. If you are interested in being part of Wesley's Children Ministry and using your spiritual gifts, contact Victoria at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your contact information has changed (address, cell/home phone, email address), or other significant changes have occurred in your household, please let us know. Email updates to email@example.com or call (912) 634-1412. Thank you for helping us to keep our records current.

If you need assistance or have questions, please contact the church office: firstname.lastname@example.org or (912) 634-1412.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

LIFE GROUPS RETURN
The return of Life Groups brought back a lot of familiar faces, which was great to see even if they were hiding behind a mask! We feel confident that there is a Life Group where you belong and it's not too late to join a group! Many new, welcoming groups have formed and some are still in the making that are both in-person and via Zoom. Contact the church office if you are interested and would like to connect in a Life Group.
FLOWER CALENDAR 2021
Each year, the Worship Committee asks assistance from the congregation to beautify the sanctuary. Weekly, two flower arrangements are placed near the altar to celebrate a special event or memorialize a loved one. These flowers are also used by Wesley's Flower Ministry to minister to the sick and homebound. To reserve a date, please sign the 2021 flower calendar located in the Breezeway. The Flower Basket will continue to provide us with flowers for the upcoming year, and the cost will now be $140. Thanks to all who have contributed to this important ministry.
