WESLEY GLEN MINISTRIES
Join us this Sunday, July 22, when Julie Rogers, Director of Development of Wesley Glen Ministries, will be sharing in all three services. Julie holds a B.A. degree in Advertising & Marketing Communication and is currently pursuing a M.Div. in Christian Education and Biblical Counseling. She brings expertise in film production, fundraising, volunteer management, and data assessment. Wesley Glen is a private, not-for-profit agency and ministry of the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. They serve adults with developmental disabilities by offering programs to aid individuals in developing skills and greater confidence to live more fulfilled lives while in a Christ-centered home environment.
Wesley strives to maintain a safe and Christ-centered environment for our members and guests while worshipping here. You may have noticed that we now have a police officer patrolling our facility on Sunday mornings. The Trustee Committee requests that all doors, with the exception of the main entrance, be locked at designated times. The children’s wing will now remain secured, and we are asking all members and guests with children to enter through the breezeway on Sundays. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to maintain the best possible security.
All rising and current Club 345 kids are invited to join Ms. Maryellen on a field trip to Summer Waves this Monday, July 23! We will meet at the church at 10:00am to ride the van, and we will return around 3:00pm. The cost is $20 for a ticket and lunch in the park. Don’t forget sunscreen and a towel! RSVP to email@example.com or (404) 213-6871.

ORGANIST POSITION FILLED
The Staff-Parish Relations Committee is pleased to announce the hiring of Matthew Ganong as part-time Assistant Director of Music and Organist, effective August 1, 2018. Matthew currently serves as Organist and Music Director at the Anglican Cathedral Church of the Epiphany in Columbia, South Carolina. He is a graduate of the prestigious Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University with a major in piano performance and a minor in harpsichord performance. The SPRC would like to thank Beth Humber, who graciously stepped out of retirement and returned as our interim organist for an extended period of time while we searched for the person to fill this position permanently. Beth will continue to serve Wesley as Organist Emeritus, assisting and substituting as needed. We give thanks to God for Beth’s service at Wesley.
HIGH SCHOOL BEACH PARTY
Our final High School Beach party is Thursday, July 26, 6:00-8:00pm, at the Coast Guard beach. Bring a chair, towel, and Bible for a fun night of beach games, fellowship, and a devotion. Contact David for more information: email@example.com.
