"CAN" YOU MATCH IT?
Maizy and Shep Davenport have started a summer community service project called “'CAN' You Match It?” with the goal of collecting 1,000 cans/dry-goods for Sparrow’s Nest. Maizy and Shep have secured a matching commitment of $1,000 to be donated to Faithworks if they meet their goal of 1,000 cans. For those who wish to contribute, drop-off points for the can goods are located in the Wesley UMC Youth Room and Celebration Hall, and at Yellow Canary Women’s Apparel and Accessory Boutique. The food drive will be throughout the month of July, ending on the last day of the month. For more information, please contact Maizy Davenport at (912) 222-8533 or email email@example.com.

WESLEY LEGACY TREE
Located in the Marshall Gathering Room, the Wesley Legacy Tree represents generous gifts given to the John Wesley Society Endowment Fund. This permanent endowment has been established so that members and friends of the church can provide support in perpetuity for Wesley United Methodist Church at Frederica. The tree is adorned with beautiful metal leaves that can be engraved with names, quotes, verses, or comments. Copper leaves represent gifts of $500; silver leaves indicate $1,000 contributions, and brass leaves denote endowments of $5,000 or more. Each leaf reflects the love and commitment the donor has for Wesley and its mission to make disciples for Jesus Christ. To purchase a leaf or to learn more about other opportunities within the John Wesley Society Endowment Fund, please contact Maryalice Kimel or Brad Danowski.
BLUE SKIES MINISTRY
This week, a mission team of eight St. Simons families will be heading to Florida to serve the families of Blue Skies pediatric cancer ministry. Please be in prayer for safe travels, fair weather, and most of all that they will be vessels for Christ’s love, light, healing, and hope for the 60+ guests they will be ministering to. There’s still a need if you’d like to donate to Blue Skies in support of the guest families being served! You can give online at https://www.classy.org/fundraiser/1979015 or write a check to Blue Skies with “SSI Team” in the memo line. See our table this morning for more info. Thank you SO much for your support and prayers for this very impactful family ministry!

The Flower Ministry is in need of your spare vases. Every week, this ministry uses the Sunday flowers and delivers at least four arrangements to those who can benefit from the extra encouragement or blessings that the flowers provide. Donations of vases (preferably boxed and marked for the Flower Ministry) may be delivered directly to the church kitchen. Thank you for your continued support.
