Sparrows Nest is a local food bank in Brunswick providing basic needs for those who have found themselves in a financial crisis. Wesley has been a long-time supporter of Sparrow’s Nest. Currently, their stock is running low on the following items: adult and children’s toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, detergent pods, dishwashing liquid such as Ajax, Dawn, etc., diapers sizes 4-6 months, and baby wipes. If you are able to donate a few items, you may drop them off on Sunday morning, or by the church office, Monday through Thursday from 9:00am – 5:00pm. As always, thank you for your support.
We are now back in the choir room for choir rehearsals together, observing social distancing and other safety protocols, and it is just like a family reunion! Praise God that we are starting the journey down the mountain of COVID-19! It's not too late to get in on the Easter music. Please note the extended time for Men and Women's ensembles: Bells at 5:30pm, Men's ensemble at 6:15pm, Mixed ensemble at 7:00pm, and Women's ensemble at 7:45pm.

MANNA HOUSE THANKS YOU
We just wanted to thank all who participated in the Souper Bowl Sunday fundraiser; because of your generosity, we are able to help many people in our local community. We are thrilled to announce that $1,959.62 was raised for Manna House!
Easter Sunday is approaching quickly (April 4), and again this year the Worship Committee is offering hydrangeas for families to honor or memorialize a loved one AND beautify the church! Hydrangeas will be white and priced at $23 each. You will find that hydrangeas are beautiful and easy to plant in your yard. Look for the order form on the Narthex credenzas and in next week’s bulletin. Contact Ellen Wilkes or Beth King with questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
or email@example.com. Orders are due no later than March 25.
CHILDREN AND PARENTS
Children's Ministry is off to a great start this year! We could use your help - due to COVID, we have had to switch the types of snacks and treats we keep on hand and our supplies are running low. Donations of individually packaged bags of goldfish, pretzels, non-chocolate candy, or gummy fruit snacks would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
STUDENTS AND PARENTS
We're excited to be back together again and be getting into the normal rhythm of life. Our new series is about spiritual disciplines and incorporating them into our lives. This Sunday, we have regular youth times and Sunday morning from 10:00-10:45am, we're having Confirmation for this year's sixth-grade class. If you're interested in your student being in Confirmation this year, please reach out so we can get your info and as always, contact Logan with any questions.
Bob Meredith's beautiful three-paneled oil painting of the Crucifixion is on display in the Robertson Chapel (adjacent to the Narthex) at Wesley. A beautifully scripted booklet with explanations and stories is provided to help viewers interpret this triptych presentation of the Crucifixion. All are welcome to come and view this art throughout the Lenten season at any time during the church's operational hours.
A NOTE FROM D. D. HUMBER
Dear Wesley family, I want to thank our Wesley family for all of the prayers, food, flowers, and love shown to us during my recent battle with COVID! Beth and I have always said that Wesley folks are the most kind, thoughtful, and generous people anywhere. God bless you and thanks again for your love exhibited toward us. -D. D. Humber
DID YOU KNOW?
Have you noticed our paraments (coverings on the Altar, Pulpit, and Lectern) are now purple? Purple represents the season of Lent. Lent begins with Ash Wednesday and is a 40-day period of penitence, preparation, and often fasting in remembrance of the 40-day fasts of Moses, Elijah, and Jesus. There are six Sundays in Lent.
