At Wesley, we are proud to offer almost two dozen concerts and events each year! Check back regularly to stay up-to-date on upcoming concerts and events. All events are free, but we do suggest a $10 minimum donation, which directly supports our programming.


Sunday, September 30, 2018 5:00p.m. Cameron Cody and Friends
Wesley's own former organist, Cameron Cody, will be joined by friends, Danielle Wojcik (soprano) and James Kelly (piano) in presenting a concert of vocal, organ, and piano music, certain to lift your spirits! This free concert is a benefit concert for Music@Wesley (Wesley UMC's Concert Series), and all money received in the freewill offering will go to fund future concerts at Wesley! Save the date, as this is a day you don't want to miss!
Cam will also be our guest organist for our 8:15am and 10:45am traditional worship services on that date!

Sunday, October 28, 2018 5:00pm Matthew Ganong, piano
Wesley's new Assistant Director of Music and Organist, Matthew Ganong, will present a varied program of virtuosic piano repertoire. Mr. Ganong studied piano and harpsichord performance at the prestigious Peabody Conservatory of Music of Johns Hopkins University. This is a free concert. An offering will be taken to contribute to costs of future concerts at Wesley.
Saturday, December 1, 2018 3:00pm Handel's Messiah, Part I
Dr. Matt Caine conducts the Golden Isles Community Chorus, local soloists, and chamber orchestra in our annual performance of Part I of Handel's beloved Messiah. This is a free concert. An offering will be received to help support next year's performance.
Friday, March 1, 2019 7:00pm Cornerstone University Chorale
The Cornerstone University Chorale of Grand Rapids, MI, presents a free concert with a repertoire spanning classical, sacred music, folk music, spirituals, and gospel music. An offering will be received to support the Cornerstone University Chorale.
Thursday, March 21, 2019 7:00pm Birmingham-Southern College Concert Choir
The Birmingham-Southern College Concert Choir, under the direction of Joseph Hugh Thomas Professor of Music Dr. Lester Seigel, presents a free concert that you do not want to miss. An offering will be taken to support the BSC Concert Choir. Birmingham-Southern College is a highly selective, private liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
In many circles it is known as "The Harvard of the South." Its music department that grew out of the formerly independent Birmingham Conservatory of Music. This year's Concert Choir continues to uphold the high musical and academic standars of BSC.

Sunday, April 7, 2019 5:00pm Saint Simons Island Pops
In the tradition of the Boston Pops, a professional chamber orchestra conducted by our own director of music ministries, Dr. Matt Caine, presents a program of music specifically written for movies and/or the stage, along with beloved music from the classical canon that has made it way on the silver screen and the stage. This is a free concert. An offering will be received to support future concerts at Wesley UMC.
