JORDAN STEFFEN AT WESLEY
Jordan Steffen will be visiting all three services at Wesley on June 3. The son of one of our former pastors, Tim Steffen, Jordan will be going to Esperanza, Honduras, to serve as a missionary with World Gospel Mission. La Esperanza is a colorful center of art, culture, and history. Unfortunately, the challenges of unemployment, extreme poverty, rampant alcoholism, and abuse are devastating the families in this tranquil community. Jordan will be working alongside long-term missionaries as they build relationships with local churches and set up a community center for impoverished children. He will also be working in a public school teaching English. Jordan will give a brief presentation and Q&A at 10:00am in the Celebration Hall.

SING AT ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Whether you are a current member of the Chancel Choir, a past member, or have never sung before, please join our choir and singers from other churches in singing for opening worship at the 2018 South Georgia Annual Conference. We will rehearse at our regularly scheduled choir rehearsals on Wednesdays (5/23 and 5/30) at 7:00pm. There will be a final rehearsal at 5:00pm on Sunday, June 3, at the Jekyll Island Convention Center, and the service will begin at 6:30pm. Contact Matt Caine for details: firstname.lastname@example.org.
AGES AND STAGES
Wesley Academy of Early Learning (WAEL) turned the tassels on another graduating preschool class this past week. Many of those children have been at Wesley since infancy. We say a bittersweet goodbye to them as well as our graduating high school seniors. Many of these high school graduates were baptized at Wesley and were active in our preschool, children, and youth programs. We wish them God’s best as they continue on their journey. Wesley is blessed to have been a part of building a foundation of faith in these young lives!
