STEWARDSHIP AT WESLEY
ANGELS NEEDEDThe Angel Tree is here! The Missions Committee is sponsoring the Angel Tree to support the Salvation Army's efforts for local families. Pick up a tag and be an angel for a child this Christmas. Donations, unwrapped, are due back to the church tree by Sunday, December 10. Please be sure that each gift is marked with the angel tag you received or the number on the angel tag. For more information, email Caryn Riggs: email@example.com.
ADVENT DECORATINGPlease join the Worship Committee in decorating Wesley for the Advent season. We will meet on Tuesday, November 28 at 9:30am and spend the better part of the day getting our lovely church ready for this special time of the year. Come for all or part of the day. It will be a lot of fun, and you will meet some fabulous folks! For information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
MINISTERING AT THE WELLOn Saturday, December 9, Wesley's UMW and youth are decorating for Christmas at The Well. They are also collecting lightly used clean and new towels, washcloths, men's and women's underwear, socks, and sweatshirts to distribute to the homeless there. Also needed are toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, and coffee. Your gifts can be put in the collection box outside of Celebration Hall. Thanks for your support and caring for the homeless.
FLOWER CALENDAR 2018Each year, the Worship Committee asks assistance from the congregation to beautify our church. Weekly, two flower arrangements are placed in the Sanctuary to celebrate a special event or memorialize a loved one. These flowers are also used by Wesley's flower ministry to minister to the sick and homebound. To reserve a date, please sign the flower calendar located in the breezeway. In 2018, the cost of arrangements will be $137 as we move to a new service provider, The Flower Basket. The new vendor will also provide arrangements in December of 2017.
