PRIME TIMERSPrime Time is the right time to have a good time! While the Prime Timers are taking a brief break over the hot summer months, lots of fun plans are being made for the fall and winter. Watch for details about upcoming Lunch Bunch plans to include our annual picnic at Neptune Park as well as some special outings. All activities will resume in August. The Prime Timers are a great group, ages 55 and up, mostly retired, who have a wonderful time together. We invite and encourage anyone from the congregation and beyond to join us for our activities. If you are new to Wesley and have questions, you may contact Paige Gober at the office (912-634-1412 x13) or Dana Harris.
SUMMER SINGING SERIESThroughout the summer months, we will regularly replace the Opening Voluntary with one or more hymns during the Gathering (approximately five minutes before worship begins). This will be an excellent opportunity to sing additional beloved hymns of the faith. If you would like to request a hymn to sing during this time, please contact Chris Goodson (firstname.lastname@example.org) or speak with him following a worship service.
CAMP KANUGA: WESLEYNorth Carolina comes to Wesley! We will host the staff and activities of Camp Kanuga on our campus the week of July 10-14, 9:00am-4:00pm. There will be archery, team sports, and adventure, all in a faith-based environment. The cost has been reduced to $150 for the week. Contact Maryellen Aiken or sign up online at www.kanuga.org/daycamp.
