The ministry of weekday education began at Wesley in 1994.  It is the purpose of our ministry to provide a secure atmosphere that encourages spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development.  Our philosophy that childhood should be a time of fun, exploration, discovery, and growth.  Planned within the framework of our purpose and philosophy, the curriculum includes:  Bible stories, times of sharing with songs, fingerplays, creative art activities, crafts, games, large muscle activities, field trip, food preparation, science and nature activities, exposure to shapes, colors, numbers, letters and celebration of birthdays and holidays.

To enhance family growth and togetherness, we will have activities through out the year that will include dinners, family movie nights, and other seasonal activities.

Morning Preschool

The ministry has grown to serve over 100 children each day.  The ministry is open to children from age 9 months to 11 years.  There are currently one Mother’s Morning Out Class, one one-year old class, four two-year old classes, three three-year old classes, and a Pre-K class.  Our staff of 21 is equipped to care for and educate your children.  We also have a fun-filled Summer Camp for children ages 1-12 years.
