Summer Children's Acting Camp

 

Attention all children!

 

Wesley is having its very first Summer Children's Acting Camp, Monday

August 2nd through Friday, August 6th from 9am to noon. All students

rising 2nd through 7th are welcome to register by Monday, July 26.

Cost of registration is $20 and includes a T-shirt to remember this

fun-filled event. Space is limited so register soon! For more

Sign Language Ensemble

Praise God in a new language!

Please join Mary Layne at 6:30pm on Wednesday, June 23 in the choir

room as we learn to worship God in a new language - American Sign!

Mary is Wesley's Summer Music and Arts Intern. Her background in

drama and theater and her passion for sign language make her an

excellent teacher of this expressive language.

The songs are simple and the examples are posted online for you to

practice on your own during the week - there's no reason why you and

your whole family can't enjoy this new opportunity to worship.

Worship is not a spectator sport. Everyone has been equipped to participate - what is your talent, how can you respond to God’s blessing in your life? Periodically throughout the year, Worship Outside the Box encourages us all to explore God’s gifts in various forms and media. We are in constant need of artists and creators to help guide, plan and implement these compelling services at Wesley.

As Wesley grows, the importance of our contemporary worship story increases.  The OASIS ministry team leads the OASIS worship service and provides support for the various aspects of this service. We have a near constant need for volunteers to help as projectionists, greeters, worship coordinators and musicians. As we seek to grow this area of ministry at Wesley, we need your help to improve the dynamics of this valuable worship service.
