SUNDAY SCHOOL
& CHILDREN’S
CHURCH

At Wesley, we want to make learning about God age-appropriate for our young members, yet still give them some exposure to “big church.”

Sundays
9:00am - Contemporary Service - Children's Church dismissal
    (3rd Grade and younger)
10:00am - Sunday School - K-2nd, Club 345, Cherubs
10:45am - Traditional Service with Pastor's Children's Moment -     Children's Church dismissal

In Children’s Ministry at Wesley, our learning environments help children understand that the Bible is really One Big Story - an epic account that tells of God’s abundant love for us and our need for His grace through a Savior. Children explore not just the STORY of God, but also the CHARACTER of God and practical life applications of His Word. We select varied curriculums that are clever, engaging, and Biblically sound, and enhance them with multi-media elements, active games, and artistic expressions. Our new “Deep Blue” series even has a kid-friendly app that has games for kids as well as information for parents, creating that “orange” connection between the yellow light of the church and the red heart of home.

Even our youngest children are on the journey! “Cherubs” (ages 3-4) participate in an interactive, age-appropriate curriculum where they experience the Wonder of God, learning stories that reveal God’s character and His great love for us. They enjoy worship music and dancing, creative story-telling and video, and related Bible crafts, activities, and games. Through it all, we strive to instill in our Cherubs the fundamental truths that: God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

At Wesley, we want to make learning about God age-appropriate for our young members, yet still give them some exposure to “big church.” Therefore, we invite all children ages 3 and up to participate in worship along with their families for the first portion of the service. After worship music and a children’s moment, kids third grade and younger are dismissed to "Children's Church" for the remaining time. Sunday school takes place between the two services (at 10:00am), so families can choose to attend either the contemporary or traditional services and participate in Sunday school in between.
